The organization is one of the largest multicarrier private healthcare exchanges in the United States, supplying comprehensive brokerage services for insurance and reinsurance across more than 100 carriers and enrolling over 200,000 members in 2014 on the commercial side alone.

The Challenge

  • Our client used a simple Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system composed of spreadsheets and manual processes to address tasks ranging from onboarding to revenue reconciliation and payouts
  • Manual agent management, commission calculations and revenue reconciliation
  • Manually calculating RTS eligibility for 900 agents accurately based on different parameters ––like State, carrier, license, appointment and certification ––was a daunting prospect.
