Coconut Creek, Florida, 03/03/2016 — VUE, The Distribution Modernization Company, announced today that Karen Machamer has joined VUEas the new Licensing and Compliance manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and having an extensive insurance licensing background, Karen will be an integral part of the VUE product team. “Karen will bring the compliance mindset to all of our products. Inviting Karen to join our team is an important aspect of our efforts to continuously improve communication with VUE Clients,” states Dr. Roger LaVine, VP of Product Development.
Karen has worked as Licensing Manager and Director for companies such as American National, New York Life, Travelers, National Western Life and Transamerica. Her responsibilities have not only been managing compliance operations but has also included re-engineering licensing processes. Karen also has experience developing an onboarding solution with her team and has worked with a leading background-investigation vendor. This combination of experience positions her to guide VUE Software in the development of new insurance compliance products as well as to consult on compliance issues and processes for clients. She has been an active member of the Securities & Insurance Licensing Association (SILA) since 1995 and a member of Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP). Karen is also a featured speaker at Industry events for Insurance Licensing.
Karen is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.
