Pearl Benefits Group selects VUE Online to streamline communication, improve productivity

Specialized Portal Empowers Insurance Industry with Rapid Information Access

Coconut Creek, Florida, 11/17/2006 — Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI), today announced that Pearl Benefits Group (PBG) has selected VUE Online, CSSI’s VUE Software® portal, which provides Web-based access to reports, policies and premiums at a glance. PBG selected VUE Online to improve customer management, communication and the productivity of front-line staff.

“VUE Online was designed for the insurance industry from the ground up, so it’s a perfect fit for achieving the communication and relationship management improvements PBG seeks,” said Stephen Bruno, president and CEO of CSSI. “We’re very excited to have earned PBG’s business and to demonstrate again how VUE Software understands and meets the needs of the insurance industry.”

A key component in the seven-year evolution of VUE Software (CSSI’s insurance industry product line), VUE Online enables customers to view and select benefit packages that best meet their needs—and immediately see the impact on their compensation. Customers can quickly, easily and clearly examine the benefit packages their employer provides, and open enrollment periods are now handled with ease. The only requirements are a Web browser and the Internet. Online access eliminates the need for time-consuming customer service telephone inquiries, freeing service and support teams for more critical functions.

PBG will soon be capitalizing on the many advanced features of VUE Online, including automated communication with customers, rules-based distribution of documents, one-click benefit statement generation, e-mailed customer service inquiries and more. PBG expects to achieve the following benefits from VUE Online:

  • Productivity increases for both end-users and service personnel
  • Reduction in call-center volumes and hold times
  • Improved customer satisfaction

VUE Online is extremely versatile. While PBG leverages it as an employee benefits portal for customers, VUE Online is also effective as a producer portal for up-to-date commission payment records, communication about incentives and more
